Kim Kardashian’s Team Reckons Her Staff’s Lawsuit Doesn’t Involve Her & Girl, Are You Sure?

Kim Kardashian‘s team has spoken out following a new lawsuit filed by former house staff, claiming that the issues in question are actually between the staff and their vendor, not her.

According to court documents obtained by E! News, a bunch of cleaning and maintenance staff, including gardeners who worked on Kim Kardashian’s mansion claim she withheld 10 percent of their wages for taxes and didn’t let them take breaks.

The workers also claim they “never received any paystubs, were not paid on regular pay periods, were not given their required meal and rest breaks, were not provided a means to record all their hours, were not paid all their hours, were not reimbursed for employment expenses, were not paid all their overtime wages, and were not paid their wages upon termination of employment.”

Kim Kardashian’s team has finally responded to the lawsuit, claiming that it actually has nothing to do with Kim.

“These workers were hired and paid through a third-party vendor hired by Kim to provide ongoing services,” her spokesperson told NBC News.

“Kim is not party to the agreement made between the vendor and their workers, therefore she is not responsible for how the vendor manages their business and the agreements they have made directly with their staff. Kim has never not paid a vendor for their services and hopes that the issue between these workers and the vendor who hired them can be amicably resolved soon.”

A “close source” (whatever that means) told E! News that Kim takes pride in paying people on time… which to me seems like the bare minimum for someone who just made it onto the Forbes billionaire list, but okay.

Funnily enough, a recent episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians just showed Kim workers-rights-kween Kardashian defending a nanny that Kourtney Kardashian “degraded.” Coincidence? I think not.
