In a frank and surprising admission that will echo down through history and have lasting consequences for our children’s children’s children, Kim Kardashian has acknowledged that she failed to watch the throne, and her sister Kylie Jenner will soon own it.
For months now, Kylie has been the in the ascendancy, and it seemed she’d scrambled her way to the top of the Kardashian-Jenner popularity pile several weeks ago, when her app trounced her sisters’ in the iTunes charts.
Still, none of that could have prepared us for the events of this week, when Kim grovelled her way onto Kylie’s website, to take part in a segment called ‘You’re In Bed With Kim + Kylie‘ (natch) to admit defeat.
“How do you feel now that you have dethroned me?” Kim asked, in a joking-not-joking sort of a way, and was met with a devastatingly on-point response from King Kylie – complete and utter stony silence.
Kim K then continued to ramble on awkwardly for some time, saying:
“I love it, like, I love it. I need some time off. I mean honey, let’s be real, you’ve got to put in a few more years before you actually dethrone me. But I give my baton to you. Who better to pass on knowledge to my baby sister, rather than a random non-family member.”
Then:
“You guys, this is amazing. I give Kylie all my tricks, I give her all my tips. I give her everything, and more. She is so, like, deserving. If I would want anyone to follow in my footsteps, anyone to borrow my clothes, anyone to like share my glam team it is Kylie, King Kylie.”
Whatever. The kween is dead, long live King Kylie.
