Kim Kardashian is late to the Bridgerton party but as they say, it’s better late than never.
The reality star recently took to social media to reveal that she’s been bingeing the ye olde Netflix series and she’s bloody obsessed.
One of the lead stars of the show, Nicola Coughlan, who plays the regal Penelope Featherington, saw that Kim was stanning her show hard and took to Twitter to share a juicy nugget of info with the reality star.
Nicola revealed that the Featheringtons, the almighty family in Bridgerton, were actually inspired by the IRL royal family, the Kardashians (yep, nothing but respect for MY royal family).

“As the world’s number one Bridgerton stan, does Kim Kardashian know that the Kardashians were a massive inspiration for the Featheringtons and we talked about them all the time during our fittings?” Nicola wrote, adding that she reckons Kim “should know this.”
Kim freaked the fuck out after learning this info and retweeted the post, writing: “WHAT?!?! I am freaking out!!!!!! This tweet was sent to me on my @bridgerton group chat! Can I please come to a fitting?!?! It would make my whole life!!!!!! I love you Lady W!!!”

She responded by telling Kim Kardashian that she’d love to have her along for a Featherington family fitting and she also spilled some Met Gala tea.
“Omg yesss of course we would love to have you!” she responded. “Also did you know that Mr Pearl made your corset for the Met Gala and the very next one he made was mine for Bridgerton? You’ve been part of the Bridgerton world for longer than you know!”
“OMG I’m gonna faint!!!!!! Does this make me an honorary Duchess in Bridgerton ?!?!?!? I am the corset Queen!!!” Kim excitedly wrote back.

Even Netflix weighed in on the love affair, writing: “Kim Featherington does have a nice ring to it — I’ll see what I can do!”
So yeah, pretty sure you can expect a Kim Kardashian cameo in Bridgerton next season.
