I’m not trying to suggest that making wax figures is easy. I know nothing about the wax figure art. I’m sure it takes an incredibly skilled person to make a lifelike likeness of a person, in wax. Given the evidence, I would probably say it’s extremely hard to do, because they nearly always coming out looking either nothing like the person or somewhat like them but absolutely horrific.
For instance:

Clearly, it’s not easy.
But, miracle of all miracles, Khloé Kardashian has somehow managed to escape relatively unscathed in her waxwork rendition from Madame Tussauds Las Vegas, with a figure that doesn’t at all look like it’s going to come alive and harvest anyone’s skin.

Usually, the faces have the dead, lifeless look of a botched historic mural restoration, but this one only has the dead, lifeless look of a bored person, which is pretty impressive:

Khloé seemed pretty stoked with it, as I imagine anyone relieved to see that they weren’t depicted as a nightmarish, melting, clothed sex doll would be:
This is tripping me out!!!! @TussaudsVegas You guys did such a great job!!! https://t.co/VwzzcaThCs

All of us can only hope that, in the eventuality that we are immortalised as something made out of wax, the easily meltable substance, that we get off that lightly.
