For better or worse, the news this week has been dominated by reports of the cheating scandal that saw Jordyn Woods hook up with Khloe Kardashian‘s now ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson, leading to near-apocalyptic levels of fallout and recrimination.
While we may never know the truth about what happened there, and whether the whole story is just a part of some elaborate, Faustian plot cooked up by Kris Jenner, we do know that Khloe Kardashian will not be joining The Bachelorette any time soon.
A few days after news of Tristan’s clandestine hookup broke, Bachelor and Bachelorette creator Mike Fleiss took to Twitter to say that he’s been in talks with Khloe about coming on board with the franchise, and that he just has to sign off with his “dear friend” Kris to approve any decision.
Earlier today, Kim Kardashian took to social media to shut down the talk of her sister going on the show, calling it “fake fucking news big time”. She used four exclamation marks in the Tweet, so you kinda know she means business:

Mike Fleiss, however, was not about to take that lying down, and after Kim’s Tweet, he shot back at her to say that The Bachelorette has “strict confidentiality agreements” and that Khloe “couldn’t tell” her sister that she was going on the show, even if she wanted to. Burn.
Before long, Khloe herself jumped onto Twitter to clear things up, saying “I’m not fucking clickbait right now. Stop or you will be hearing from my lawyers. How insensitive!!” So that clears that up, I guess?

Khloe Kardashian has not publicly addressed the cheating scandal, but she has posted some highly-emotional quotes to her Instagram stories and deleted photos of Tristan from her feed, and she would certainly appear to be single as of right now.
Anyway, if she changes her mind an she does decide to give this a crack, The Bachelorette Australia has done some truly inspired work with celebrity casting in the past, and we’d be very happy to have her come down here and choose an eligible bloke. Just a thought …
