Kendall Jenner Finally Addresses Long-Held Fan Theory She’s Actually Gay

Kendall Jenner is not gay. In fact, she’s so not gay, that she told Vogue that she doesn’t gave “a gay bone in my body”, but that she’s “down for experience”.

But before we go into any further detail, here’s what you need to know: (some) queer people have been theorising that Kendall is gay for years.

They reckon that her close, affectionate friendship with Cara Delevingne – which appeared to suddenly end – was in fact a romantic relationship, and that momanager Kris Jenner has been preventing Kenny from opening up as her true, queer self.

Entire blogs are dedicated to supposed ~proof~ that she’s queer, and an article on INTO published just last month details how her relationships with men (Harry Styles, ASAP Rocky and now NBA star Blake Griffin) never seem to be that public, and that she often avoids gendered pronouns when talking about love.

And then there’s this joke from Tyler, The Creator, who is gay.

So all of us this has led us to this point: Kendall Jenner confirming to Vogue that she’s definitely not queer.

“I think it’s because I’m not like all my other sisters, who are like, ‘Here’s me and my boyfriend!’” she tells the magazine. “So it was a thing for a minute because no one ever saw me with a guy. I would always go that extra mile to be low-key with guys, sneaking around all the time. You don’t want to, like, look crazy.”

She continues: “I don’t think I have a bisexual or gay bone in my body, but I don’t know! Who knows?! I’m all down for experience—not against it whatsoever—but I’ve never been there before.” She ponders it for a moment. “Also, I know I have kind of a . . . male energy? But I don’t want to say that wrong, because I’m not transgender or anything. But I have a tough energy. I move differently. But to answer your question: I’m not gay. I have literally nothing to hide.” Vogue writes that she “lets out a mordant chuckle”, which is quite the image. “I would never hide something like that.”

She also doesn’t confirm to Vogue that she’s dating Griffin. At one point, she speaks to the reporter from Michigan – where Griffin, a Detroit Piston power forward, is based – and says coyly, “I’m visiting a friend”. (It’s the day after Valentine’s Day.) She later concedes: “I’m happy. He’s very nice. I have someone being very nice to me.”

Of course, the news is devastating to some…

…but others are slightly less convinced.

We should probably just let the girl live, hey – but also appreciate how incredible this photoshoot is. I am ruined.
