Congratulations to English actress Keira Knightley who took time out from a heavy schedule of Joe Wright period dramas to get married in the south of France yesterday.
Knightley wore a gauzy silk organza dress and cropped jacket by Chanel, for whom she has been an ambassador since 2009, and her now-husband James Righton of momentarily huge nu-rave outfit Klaxons donned a sharp navy suit.
You can look at the lovers frolicking hand in hand, post nuptials, in the Daily Mail which reports that the couple “swept into the picturesque village, which boasts traditional Provencal sloping stone roofs and ramparts dating back to the 12th Century, just after 11.30am for the service in the grand Hotel De Ville, three miles from where the bride’s family own a £3million farmhouse.”
It just wouldn’t be right if we didn’t play this memorable Keira Knightley wedding scene to honour her big day.
