‘Drag Race’ Stars Katya And Trixie Mattel Are Getting Their Own TV Show, Honey

Honey. Ohhhhhhh honey. Beloved RuPaul’s Drag Race queens Trixie Mattel and Katya Zamolodchikova have scored themselves a brand new gig, and will be making contact with your TV screens very soon thanks to VICELAND, who have signed the pair on for a brand new series.

Trixie and Katya currently host UNHhhh, the screamingly funny YouTube series where they talk about whatever they want (because it’s their show, not yours). There’s no word on how this new deal will affect that, but we sincerely hope that they can continue doing both.

The Trixie And Katya Show – which isn’t the most wildly inventive name, but at least it’s descriptive – promises to be a “hilarious hybrid of late-night, daytime, and advice shows”. It is set to premiere on November 1 internationally.

The two queens were both performers on the seventh season of Drag Race. Katya made the top three on Drag Race All Stars 2 where she was unceremoniously robbed of the crown by Alaska, while Trixie is strongly rumoured to be a contender for the upcoming All Stars 3.

SBS VICELAND have confirmed that it’s “coming soon” to Australia, so in the meantime, we’ll just continue binge-watching UNHhhh to hold us over.
