Katy Perry And Orlando Bloom’s Japanese Wedding Postponed Over Coronavirus Fears

Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have reportedly been forced to postpone their Japanese destination wedding, over fears that their guests might get sick. Celebrities – they are just like us, and their plans get screwed up by coronavirus, just like ours!

A source close to the couple told People that they’ve put their plans on hold, saying:

“It was all set for Japan with 150 guests. Katy was actually really excited about walking down the aisle pregnant. They were both so elated that all the wedding details were finally coming together, but they are hitting pause because of coronavirus.”

Orlando Bloom proposed to Katy Perry last year on a romantic helicopter ride. Earlier this week, she revealed that she was pregnant in the music video for her new song ‘Never Worn White‘.

It appears she’ll be having a busy year, as she has also alluded to plans to drop another album – her fifth if you count the pop ones, or her sixth if you count the Christian rock one that she made under the name Katy Hudson, which I very much do.

“There’s a lot that will be happening this summer,” she said of her goals for the next few months. “Not only will I be giving birth – literally – but also figuratively to something you guys have been waiting for.”

Here’s hoping Katy and Orlando can reschedule their nuptials soon. I guess the wedding planning is never
