While you may well have spent Valentine’s Day on the couch eating Barbecue Shapes and watching murder documentaries in the name of self-care, it turns out that Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom spend the day getting engaged with a gigantic flower ring. Love is real after all, folks.
The couple showed off the ring in twin Instagram posts – Katy captioned hers “full bloom”, while Bloom wrote “lifetimes” under his – and in a now-deleted Facebook post, her mum fully let the cat out of the bag by posting pictures of the two captioned “Look who got engaged on Valentines Day!!”
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom began dating in early 2016, and things seemed serious, with the two meeting each-other’s families, but they called it off the following year. He dated Nina Dobrev for a while, before the pair reconciled in early 2018, and now here we are.
A while back, at the urging of James Corden, Perry ranked her famous exes by their sexual prowess, saying that Bloom is a better root than Diplo, but not as good as John Mayer. She hedged her bets by saying that all three are “amazing lovers”, and clearly Bloom wasn’t that offended.
