‘Kath & Kim’ Star Peter Rowsthorn Just Blew Any Ideas Of A Reboot Out His Arse

In case you’re not avidly watching I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here, Peter Rowsthorn – who played the ever-iconic Brett on Kath & Kim, is currently in the jungle with a bunch of other quasi celebs, doing weird shit in the name of entertainment.

Naturally, this means he’s getting mic’s shoved in his face and being asked his opinions. Which is exactly what’s happened this week, with TV Week grilling the actor about his time on the BEST SHOW IN EXISTENCE (Kath & Kim, not I’m A Celeb. Pls.)

First things first – he’s not mates with Our Lord & Saviour Magda Szubanski, although it doesn’t sound like the reason is bad blood vibes, Sarah Jessica and Kim Cattrall style.

I sort of just watch Mags like everyone else in the media. We don’t really talk – I’ve found showbiz is a fairly transient sort of game. Some people remain good friends, but it’s tricky.

On the other hand, and this is fantastic news to me because I just imagine these two firing up the barbie on the regular, Peter says he counts Glenn “Kel” Robbins as one of his “best mates”.

If any of you were hoping for a reboot of the literally-perfect show however, you can put that thought in the bin. Which you should do anyway – come ON. Kath & Kim cannot be improved.

‘It would be horrible,’ Peter said of the idea of a reboot. ‘It would never be as good as the first one.’

PREACH.
