It’s nice, it’s different, it’s unusual.
That definitely looks like the kitchen and trust me I would know, I’ve been there. I visited the house in Melbourne’s Patterson Lakes a couple of years ago, and waited nearly three hours to see that cursed kitchen before the house was demolished. It’s been renovated since the show, but you can tell it’s the same kitchen (that’s me on the left).
Jaspers posted another screenshot of the back door entrance. And no, not that kind of back door entrance, the actual back of the house.

It might seem farfetched that a popular Australian TV show like Kath & Kim was filmed at the same location as some amateur porn. But this is AUSTRALIA we’re talking about. We don’t have a mutli-billion dollar film and television industry, so sets inevitably get reused. This is also the same show where Fountain Lakes Shopping Centre was actually filmed at my local Westfield (Southland Shopping Centre) and the famous wedding scene from season one was filmed at the Best Western Buckingham Plus on Nepean Highway. If you know the Nepean Highway, you’ll know it’s not exactly prime real estate.
