Surprise, mates! Kate Hudson is very much up the duff with her first bub with partner Danny Fujikawa. It’s her third kid total, after the undeniably hilariously named Bingham Hawn, 5, and Ryder Russell, 14.
She made the announcement on Instagram, in the form of a video which one might describe as ‘too much’ in which she popped four large balloons, each of which shower pink confetti to represent the fact they’re expecting a girl.
Explaining that – as you might have expected – the roughest part of expecting a child is not being able to utilise Instagram’s most beloved features, the actress apologised for her absence from social media:
SURPRISE!!! ???? If you’ve wondered why I’ve been so absent on my social channels it’s because I have never been more sick! [It] was the most sick first trimester of all my children. Boomerangs have made me nauseous, Superzoom is an easy way to have my head in the toilet, food Instagrams make me [queasy] and thinking too much about Insta stories made me even more exhausted than I already had been.
A source told People magazine: “They are very happy. They have been trying to get pregnant.” Which, to be fair, sounds like a generic statement you could completely make up if you wanted to sound like you know Kate Hudson.
