Kim Kardashian has come clean with the real reason why there won’t be a Kardashian Christmas card this year – the tight-knit clan plum forgot.

Speaking to Refinery29 today, Kardashian admitted the TRUTH: “You know, I have to be honest with you, we totally forgot.”
Still, she says, there’s some truth to the fan-fed theory that with all the drama of the last year – the Tristan Thompson cheating scandal being the first to come to mind – the Kardashian Christmas card could be off, and a West fam one put in its place.

Yep, her and Yeezy himself have been discussing going it alone this year: “Kanye and I were saying, should we take a picture with our kids and just do one ourselves this year? I don’t know if I have the energy to get it together.”
Kardashian pinpoints the drama last year around the annual event as one reason why the family let the Christmas card totally slip from their minds. You remember, don’t you? When Kylie Jenner was remarkably absent, lending even more credence to those (absolutely true) pregnancy rumours
“Like, last year we had so much drama with this card. And I think everyone was like, we’re never doing this again. So we really did forget. Time just went by so quickly.”
She also points to the turnaround between filming episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians and their air dates – the 2017 Xmas card episode aired in August this year. “Honestly because the episode aired so late, I think we all thought we had so much time. And now we’re stuck with no Christmas card.”
Still if the inaugural West Xmas card is a no-go Kardashian does have a plan K:
I am trying to get my sisters and I to all wear the same designer to our Christmas Eve party. It’s the first time that Kanye and I are having it at our house. We’ll be all dressed up and 30 minutes before the party starts, with all our kids, we’ll be out in front of my house and [could] just maybe take a picture there? Is that the best way to all get in the room and then we release it that night? I don’t know. We really have to figure it out.
Yeah, we’d settle for that or a West one, no worries, Kim. Better yet, pls recreate Mean Girls/’Thank U, Next‘. You know cool mum Kris Jenner would be up for that.
