In yet another thing I didn’t have on my 2021 bingo card, rapper Kanye West and supermodel Irina Shayk are apparently dating.
West, who is in the process of divorcing Kim Kardashian (more on that in a tick), was snapped hanging out with Shayk and some friends near Provence, France this week. Those pictures were published by the gossip mongers at the Daily Mail, and they went boonta.
The piccies, which you can suss out here, don’t include any PDA, but West looks pretty happy.
Sure, these two could just be mates, but the rumour mill is in absolute overdrive this morning, I tell you what.
And where there’s a rumour, there are sources, so have your grains of salt ready.

Shayk is so attractive, it hurts.
Anyway.
One source told E!News, “They have been seeing each other for several weeks. Kanye has been flying in and out of New York to be with her.”
Well then!
The mysterious source added that West and Shayk have known each other for yonks, too. This checks out, according to Google.
“Kanye and Irina have known each other for years through the fashion industry,” a separate source, who is apparently very close to West, told the publication.
“They were connected through their mutual friend group and [Chief Creative Officer at Burberry] Riccardo Tisci.”
Shayk also walked in West’s runway show at Paris Fashion Week way back in 2012, before he started his Yeezy collection.
Prior to that, she also cameo’d in the rapper’s music video for ‘Power’ in 2010. Oh, and Shayk was also one of the many names mentioned in West’s song ‘Christian Dior Denim Flow’.
Kardashian filed for divorce from West back in February of this year, after marrying in 2014. They share four children: North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2.
In the latest season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the SKIMS founder opened up about the breakdown of her marriage. She said she wants her soon-to-be ex-husband to find someone “who will support his every move and go follow him all over the place.”
Shayk, meanwhile, shares four-year-old Lea De Seine with her ex-boyfriend Bradley Cooper. They called it quits on their relationship in 2019, after four years together.
