Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco has revealed she underwent shoulder surgery in what might or might not have been on the honeymoon plan, five days after getting hitched.
Cuoco wrote in an Instagram post:
When your ‘honeymoon’ is shoulder surgery and your husband looks just has happy lol on the road to recovery – thank you for all the love and support!
Knowing @mrtankcook I’m sure he will be posting tons of hilarious gems thank god my hair color is on point.
If you haven’t seen the very lush Instagram posts, Cuoco just tied the knot to professional equestrian and fellow animal lover Karl Cook last weekend in San Diego, California.
Big Bang Theory co-stars Johnny Galecki who plays Leonard and Mayim Bialik, Amy attended the wedding.
Galecki, who plays Cuoco’s TV husband posted a sweet Insta captioned “Couldn’t be happier for my fake wife @normancook and @mrtankcook whose words brought us all to tears last night. So much love for you both.”
Cuoco has not shared the reason for the shoulder surgery but post-op seems to be all good.
Cook, who just loves to post the most unflattering (but still heckin’ sweet) photos of his wife, obviously posted a couple of Instagrams to share the recovery journey.
The cheeky bugger captioned one post “@normancook snoring like a distressed walrus. I love you so much honey but wow!”
Always keeping it real.
Also, this one:
Cuoco wore a stunning 1920s inspired custom-wedding dress by Reem Acra followed by a lace floral jumpsuit at their wedding reception.
Look at the DOGGO. The handsome pooch’s name is Tank.
Check out that gorgeous reception though:
The beautiful couple made their relationship public back in 2016 when they walked the red carpet at the Longines Masters Los Angeles Gala together. The pair had met earlier that year at an equestrian show – a sport they also both love and take part in.
In one of the most pure celebrity proposals ever, Cook posted a video of his now-wife’s reaction to him popping the question in November 2017.
Look, you’ve probably already seen this a ton of times but it’s SO SWEET:
