Maxim magazine has given Prime Minister Julia Gillard an endorsement of the sexy persuasion by including her on the annual poll of Australia’s Hottest Women.
To no one’s surprise, the list was topped by part-time nudist and the latest RUSSH cover girl Miranda Kerr, with high profile blondes, Jennifer Hawkins and Delta Goodrem, in the second and third spots respectively, demonstrating Maxim’s respect for the populist vote.
Ms Gillard – who recently received a boost in international regard after her Tony Abbott reprimand – crept into the mix at No.100, one spot under Dame Edna at No.99. Getting edged out by a cross-dressing elderly Queen Elizabeth II devotee is like the perfect illustration of the term ‘back handed compliment’.
