In an extremely weird / cool / bizarre twist of fate, it seems that Jordan Peele has the brown leather chair from Get Out in his own home.
You know the one we’re talking about – the chair Chris (Daniel Kaluuya) is in when Missy (Catherine Keener) sneak hypnotises him into the sunken place.
Yep, old mate Peele has that exact chair – or a replica – in his own home. I bet Chelsea Peretti tweets from it.
Following the Oscars on Monday (our time), Peele tweeted a pic of his growing collection of awards, saying: “This is exactly what it looked like watching my wife give birth.”

Most of us (yours truly included) were focused on the Lion King-type situation, but one eagle-eyed fan noticed something in the background.
“Loving the Get Out looking chair,” he said.
“Btw that IS the get out chair,” Peele replied.

Presumably this one has all the stuffing inside. But I have questions that need answering: did he keep the chair after filming? Or was the chair already his, and he leant it to his film? Either way, it’s extremely cool imo.
Maybe it’s not the best chair for drinking tea in, though.
