Joel Edgerton Wins GQ Man Of The Year, Talks The Great Gatsby


Dapper bro and terrific film actor Joel Edgerton took out the GQ Man Of The Year gong last night at the annual awards ceremony hosted by the mens magazine. We managed to sneak some time with the man on the red carpet (and by ‘sneak’, we mean ‘yelled his name to attract his attention’) where he discussed working on The Great Gatsby and how lavish and awesome it was:

The MOTY also disclosed what his plans were for 2012, including a new flick for local outfit Blue Tongue Films called Wish You Were Here and the possibility of doing a film project with Liv Ullman, who was behind the recent Sydney Theatre Co. production of A Streetcar Named Desire. He’s also really scared of bookshops. Serious:
