Jess Power Is Back On Her IG Story BS, Sassing Folks Who Called Her Quarantine Rant ‘Entitled’

Jessika Power

After going off about being in hotel quarantine in 30-odd Instagram stories over the weekend, Married At First Sight‘s Jessika Power is home. She still has things to say about it though, especially to the people in her DMs who think she’s “entitled”.

Jessika flew back to the Gold Coast recently after a trip to Perth, but was told she had to quarantine for two weeks after the rules changed mid-flight.

After settling into the hotel, Jessika ranted to her 357,000 followers on Instagram that the windows didn’t open and there was “NO FRESH AIR”.

“Before anyone comes at me like ‘oh, don’t complain it’s quarantine you should’ve known that before you travelled.’ The quarantine rules changed when we were on the plane. I asked if I could go back to Perth, they said no.”

Throughout her numerous Instagram stories, Jessika called hotel quarantine “inhumane”, which was received as well as you would expect online.

If you missed her stories, @mafsfunny stitched them together for your viewing pleasure, which Jessika later shared on her Insta story.

Jessika absolutely copped it online, and while being dunked on isn’t something to celebrate, the viral IG stories did highlight just how privileged some of these influencers and former reality TV stars are.

But back at home, Jessika hit back at the “nasty and vindictive” people in her Insta DMs who hounded her for complaining about being in quarantine.

According to Jessika, people asked her to imagine being in “jail” or a “war-torn country” in comparison to quarantine, which the former MAFS contestant said was stupid because she’s never been in either.

“I do feel for them, but that’s not what I’m used to so what I’m going to complain about is going to be very, very different to what they complain about and let’s not forget that,” she said.

“People are saying I’m entitled because I got upset about no fresh air – um, geez if that’s entitled, if having fresh air for everyone to breathe is entitled then far out,” Jessika continued.

“Fuck, I just can’t deal with the media and people’s opinion, it’s just honestly – sometimes I rattle my head going what the fuck are you on about.”

Jessika added that she could 100% guarantee that all the people coming for her would “be upset in the conditions that we were in in that hotel.”

“I’m sorry, but you would,” she said. “So until you’ve done it, don’t talk.”
