Easily the best of the current swathe of Netflix’s Marvel assets, Jessica Jones has received the full trailer treatment ahead of season two dropping on the streaming platform next month and everything is on fire again it seems.
We’ve finally got some actual deets to go on this time, after last December’s teaser left us with nary a lead and it looks like season two will see the superheroine/detective/borderline-alcoholic dealing with the fallout of the recent Defenders series and exploring her ~dark~ past.
Specifically, it appears we might be getting a look at Jessica’s origin story, which seems to be sticking to the comic book version of her losing her family in a car crash but with a more Wolverine-esque “getting experimented on by a shady organisation” follow-up.
Aussie Rachel Taylor and Trinity herself Carrie-Ann Moss are also back for more sleuthing, plus the trailer closes on a tasty little hint about a certain purple man possibly making a return.
