After I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here star Jess Eva wound up in hospital with literal bugs lodged in her ears, the TV personality has somehow managed to discover something even more disgusting festering inside her ear canals: fungus.
It seems like all the grossest shit in the jungle saw Eva’s ears as an ideal place to nestle in. At least didn’t get her booted off the show early for medical reasons.
“Mamma’s got fungus! So this is what happened… the pain in my ears was getting worse so I went to the angels at Royal North Shore hospital Monday night and went home that night,” she wrote.
While at the hospital the doctors found “hairy, black, gross fungus growing everywhere” inside her ear
“In what would be a pimple popper’s delight, [the doctor] vacuumed it out,” Jess wrote.
“The mini vacuum head got clogged in some stages, from hairy yellow and black balls of *vomit emoji*”
It’s unclear whether or not the fungus is directly related to the mysterious, unidentified bugs which had to be flushed out of her ears last week, but suffice to say, Jess and her ears have been through the absolute shitter lately.
The good news is that Jess now feels “a million times better” and is on a treatment plan.
“This whole process would have really freaked me out, but after popping Colin Fassnidge‘s bum pimple last night on I’m A Celeb I feel like nothing will ever compare,” she added.
“Anyway, as a mamma who doesn’t normally like to whinge at her illnesses and just gets on with it, I’m a bit embarrassed at all the commotion.
“Thank you so much for all your beautiful messages and thank-you so much to Royal North Shore hospital.”
