Jess Eva Calls Out Troll Who Called Her A ‘Fat Fucking Mutt’ After She Danced On I’m A Celeb

Jess Eva dances for troll

Radio host and The Block alumni Jess Eva has sent back a message of self-love and empowerment after an I’m A Celeb viewer fat-shamed her over social media.

Jess shared the revolting comment on Instagram, with the person calling her a “fat pig” and a “Fat fucking mutt”, complaining about a moment on the series where she danced for the other contestants with her shirt hitched up above her stomach.

Her response? A new cheeky bellydance and twerk in her bra and her partner Norm Hogan’s undies, interrupted only by her four-year-old daughter playfully hitting her on the bum.

“Ya know I get that some people don’t like 85kgs of white chocolate,” 36-year-old Jess began in the caption. She wrote that when she was 26 she would’ve been drawn into disordered eating by that kind of criticism, and that she didn’t want her daughter to be so affected by another person’s opinion.

“This weekend I was looking at my just turned 4 year old daughter. And I thought I’m at an age where these messages don’t phase me. But 10 years ago, these messages would probably spiral me into a state of diets and feeling like a fat, inferior piece of crap. And I don’t want her to ever feel like she’s not good enough as a result of someone’s opinion.”

She wrote that her intention with the post wasn’t to shame people who troll her in the comments for the way she looks, but instead was to encourage people to love themselves – including their guts.

“It’s a post to every man and woman of any shape and size to love your guts, love your soul and love your life,” she continued. “People will always comment on what you should and shouldn’t be.”

Jess explained that she had given her “overly clingy at the moment” four-year-old the iPad to watch Peppa Pig while she was recording her video.

“I had no idea she was watching,” she added. “But I’m also proud, because when she gets older and if she ever feels like she’s not good enough, I’m going to play her this video.”

She concluded: “#loveyaguts PS – I love my guts! It’s got heaps of wine and really tasty food in it! How goods livin!”

Her cheeky response to the troll has received praise from her I’m A Celeb co-stars like Abbie Chatfield, Grant Denyer, singer Toni Pearen, Real Housewives Of Melbourne‘s Pettifleur Berenger and Gogglebox‘s Symon Lovett and Adam Densten.

“[Y]ou have such an amazing attitude and what a great example you are setting for your daughter,” Pettifleur wrote.

“You are everything to me and us. Keep making every moment good or not so good fun. You are a perfect role model for your kids xxx,” Toni said.

We’re definitely taking Jess Eva’s message about celebrating our bodies into the week – even when people try to convince us that the way we look is not attractive or not enough. Fuck the haters.
