‘Twin Peaks’ Actor Charged With Attempted Murder After Attack On Girlfriend

Actor Jeremy Lindholm, who appeared in a recent episode of Twin Peaks: The Return, has been charged with attempted second-degree murder after an attack on his girlfriend.

Police in SpokaneWashington arrested the 41-year-old earlier this week as he was fleeing from the 420 Lingerie boutique carrying a baseball bat.

According to court documents, he told them that he had attacked his girlfriend with the bat because she refused to buy him Kool-Aid before returning to work.

A surveillance video from the scene reportedly shows Lindholm hitting a woman more than a dozen times around the head and body with the bat, and also attacking her with his hands.

She did not suffer life-threatening injuries in the assault, but was transported to a local hospital.

Lindholm allegedly told police that he did not want to hurt her in the attack, but instead wanted them to shoot him in front of her.

He was charged with attempted second-degree murder in relation to the incident, as well as second-degree assault and unlawful imprisonment-domestic violence.

He is currently being held in the Spokane County Jail on a $100,000 bond, and a judge has ordered him not to make any further contact with his girlfriend.

Jeremy Lindholm played the character of Mickey in Twin Peaks: The Return, and he appeared in episode six, grabbing a ride in a van with Harry Dean Stanton‘s character Carl.

He has also made frequent appearances as an extra on the show Z Nation, and producer Steve Graham told reporters “we were surprised and shocked and concerned for the family.”

“Jeremy has been very active in the film community here,” he continued. “We really only know him by his work and he’s done good work for us.”

Graham said the show will stop working with Lindholm if he is convicted.
