Jimmy Kimmel has taken a week off from his show to be with his family as his son prepares for surgery, and a variety of guest hosts are filling in for him, including Jennifer Lawrence, whose turn behind the desk is one of the purest delights we’ve experienced in a while.
Lawrence, a long-time Keeping Up With The Kardashians enthusiast, got to interview none other than Kim Kardashian West overnight, and the two of them spent eighteen glorious minutes laughing about the show, Kris, Kanye and life in general.
They spoke about Kim’s period as a hacker, breaking into people’s voicemail inboxes to find out their secrets, about the time Jennifer got hella drunk with Kris, and about which Kardashian Kim would kill last if they were all stuck on a desert island.
They also addressed the all-important question: “Is Khloé in on you being subtly rude to her, or are you just subtly rude to her?” You can watch the whole thing below:
Jennifer Lawrence also took to Hollywood Boulevard to interview passers-by, shoving microphones in their faces and asking them to name five of her movies, with a number of them apparently failing to even recognise her.
On the one hand, I’m like ‘WE GET IT, JENNIFER LAWRENCE, YOU’RE GOOFY AND DOWN-TO-EARTH AND RELATABLE, THERE’S NO NEED TO HAMMER THE POINT HOME SO MUCH’, but on the other, this is pretty funny. Enjoy:
