Jeffree Star Called Out For “Blatantly Racist Behaviour” By Fellow Beauty Blogger

Fresh from his tour Down Under, controversial internet personality Jeffree Star is being called out for exhibiting “racist behaviour” by fellow beauty influencer Jackie Aina.

The popular blogger took to Twitter to call out Star’s “use of the N word” and for making black women feel “ugly and ashamed” of who they are.

“I have not and will not excuse his blatantly racist behaviour and — not his past references to me in derogatory terms, his use of the N word nor his efforts to eliminate spaces and opportunities for people of colour,” she writes.

“No one in the community should feel like they are protected enough to continuously say things to make black women feel ugly and ashamed in their own skin.”

She adds that this is the last she will say on the matter and that she is not likely to forgive Star even if his behaviour changes.

“I’m not addressing this again, please in the future no matter what changes do not pressure, urge me, or force me to accept and forgive someone who will never accept someone like me,” she writes.

“If a ‘smear campaign’ follows my stance on this ultimately should maybe you question why EVERYTIME someone professionally expresses concerns about this person (something black women have the right to do, and yet I’m way nicer than most) why they’d have to be punished for it.”

Aina previously called out her rival in 2017 when she made a video called Anti-Haul where she slammed Star’s prods.

“I just have a deep issue with the anti-black comments and things that have been made publicly and in addition to that, have not been addressed,” she says in the vid.

Star later blocked her on Instagram and the two argued on Twitter.

“I make content that explains explicitly why I do not support certain people and their brands. It’s ALWAYS based on morals and ethics,” Aina wrote at the time.

Star has yet to comment on Aina’s latest swipe.
