We already knew that the Arrested Development movie was on its way, and now Jason Bateman has added to the excitement by saying he’s heard the plot for the film and ‘it’s incredible’. This is good new for fans, that means they actually might start filming the thing before the end of the world (2012).
Bateman let the news spill to a long-suffering MTV interviewer, who opens the segment by saying he could make a video with all the times he’s asked Bateman for details about the film spin-off of the cult series. “It’s embarrassing,” he said, of not having solid info for such a long time, “we’re embarrassed.” On the plus side, he says it’s “everything you’d want it to be and more.” Which means more Will Arnett, less Michael Cera? A Gob montage? Non-stop Portia De Rossi?
