Like Stonehenge, stigmata and the appeal of Michael Douglas, one of the great mysteries of our time is January Jones’ inability to look good in anything except her Betty Draper clothes.
It simply doesn’t add up: she is an unquestionably beautiful woman. She has a fabulous figure. Her Mad Men salary would be enough to afford great clothes and hair cuts – hell, a stylist perhaps?! She is always such a red carpet disappointment – particularly compared to her Betty Draper look which is spectacular, even when its just capri pants and stained Keds. She has a name that demands she at least look porny-hot – if not polished-glamorous-hot.
