Jaime Oliver is no longer the naked chef thanks to Austrailian clothing label Three Over One. Oliver anointed the brand his “favourite Aussie apparel” in a post on photo sharing App Instagram. He wrote that he felt “well chuffed” when he discovered the label at Sydney store The Other Side located along Paddington’s retail hub, Oxford Street. The post was subsequently ‘liked’ by more than 3,000 followers:
Also “well chuffed” is the Sydney based men’s and women’s clothing brand. We spoke to Three Over One’s sales agent from Deakon Brands, Michael, who said that it was “a real joy” having Oliver in store buying “lots of gifts for family and friends”. According the Michael, Oliver was given a personal tour of the label by head designer Jim Thompson before he made the Instagram post. See: Good customer service really does pay off.
Besides providing money-can’t-buy endorsements to fledgling Australian labels, Jamie Oliver is in the country promoting healthy eating and continue his ongoing crusade against obesity. This morning he touched down in Geelong to announce the launch the Ministry of Food Victoria, which aims to teach families how to cook healthy options and change their attitude towards food. We’re the fattest country in the world, so do heed his advice.
