Beauty blogger James Charles has apologised to Shawn Mendes after a thirsty comment left on the singer’s Instagram Live allegedly led him to cut the session short.
In the video, Mendes can be seen juggling balls to entertain his fans including Charles who commented “can you juggle me like that?”
Shortly after Charles’ comment was posted, the singer could be seen staring at his screen with concern and ending the video abruptly.

As fans began to speculate that Mendes was pissed about the blogger’s thirsty comment, PopCrave shared a tweet from a fan who claimed that Shawn recently criticised James at a secret listening party for his album.
The fan alleges that Shawn told the crowd: “That dude is ALWAYS commenting weird shit on my posts”, in reference to James Charles.

Obviously noticing the Twitter chatter that alluded to Shawn being bothered by James, the beauty boss apologised for his comment:
“My comments on friend’s & boy’s content have always been light hearted & in a joking manner,” he wrote. “I’ve been supporting @shawnmendes since vine & am a fan like anyone else, & would never want to make anyone uncomfortable. Im upset, embarrassed, and sorry if he felt sexually harassed.”

After spotting the tweet, Mendes slid into Charles’ DMs to let him know that things were all g between the two which the influencer later shared to his fans.
