Shock value is the bread and butter of every internet personality / blogger / influencer / whatever ya wanna call ’em, right? But… what the fuck is going on with James Charles lately?
His recent social media activity has been, erm, bizarre doesn’t even begin to cover it.
I feel like he kinda disappeared after all the Tati Westbrook drama (lol remember that?), and it looks like he’s trying to regain relevance by pissing people off by immersing himself in controversy and sharing cursed posts, which isn’t the best way to go about it, if ya ask me.
First, he sidles up to TikTok famous fam, the D’Amelios, and becomes embroiled in the dinner video controversy where Charli and Dixie D’Amelio were labelled “spoiled” and “entitled.”
Then, he had the AUDACITY to disrespect some of my fave celebs (including queen Kris Jenner) with that dumb old busy challenge or whatever it’s called.

And now, he’s cursing our eyes with absolutely fucking batshit posts, like this one where he emulates (read: blasphemes) Beyoncé’s pregnancy photoshoot.
Naturally, the post that nobody asked for was the source of a lot of shock horror over the weekend and pls excuse me while I gouge my eyes out.

James Charles later admitted that it was all a sham and he has not, in fact, shaved off his lush locks. So, it was another stunt. But why? Peep the footage here (if you dare).
I honestly feel like James Charles, and other vloggers, bloggers, loggers etc, have the capability of being solid role models and hitting us with some fire content but instead, they use their influence to force this bullshit upon us.
