Married At First Sight groom Jake Edwards has apparently given up trying to hide his (very obvious) relationship with nutritionist and Insta-model Sophie Guidolin, despite still being married to Beck Zemek on the show.
According to the Daily Mail, Jake (33) flew to Noosa on Monday to celebrate Sophie’s 33rd birthday.
The couple have been somewhat of an open secret for a while now, but this is the first time they’ve done such a bad job at hiding it.
According to Sophie’s Instagram, the birthday holiday is an annual tradition among her and her friends, so things must be ~somewhat~ serious if Jake has managed to cop an invite.
For starters, we’ve got this pic of them getting very close for her birthday. I mean, look at the hand. That’s a boyfriend hand, not a platonic friend hand.

And then we’ve got her subtly showing him in an Instagram story at the beach. If you pause at juuuust the right time you can see him clearly in the video.
I mean, look me in the eyes and tell me that’s not Jake.
Sophie also shared a relaxing beach snap that *looks* like it has Jake’s legs in the background. This one is a bit harder to judge because it could be any tanned, white man with no visible leg tattoos. But given the circumstances, I’m also going to bet this is Jake.
But let’s be real, we were all pretty sure they were already together, but that’s not the interesting bit here.
In an Instagram Q&A, Sophie was asked what her favourite birthday present was and she responded “I can’t say yet but I will in a couple of days.”
Now, this could mean anything, but my spidey senses tell me that the gift is likely from Jake and maybe, just maybe, this is a hint that he’ll be yeeting from the show this week.
I don’t know about you, but I sure will be glued to my TV eagerly awaiting his departure.
