It Took A Day For Some Doofus To Break The Seinfeld Replica Set Doing A Kramer Slide

I don’t know what’s more surprising: The fact that it took less than 24 hours for this to happen, or the fact that in no way, shape, or form am I actually surprised about it.

Streaming giant Hulu have been celebrating the arrival of Seinfeld on their on-demand service in a number of different ways – the most spectacular one being a complete, and extremely detailed replica of Jerry‘s apartment, which they have installed in New York City for fans to wander around in.
It’s one of those rare, ultimate fan service things, and people have been flocking to it in droves. By all accounts, it’s freaking amazing.
But of course people haven’t been content to just calmly wander around the place and gawk at all the things in a respectful manner. They’ve been re-creating some of their favourite steps in the process. None more so than Kramer‘s signature entrance.
Enter: This doofus, who in attempting to slide through the door, forgot he was wearing a backpack, and subsequently took a massive chunk of the set out in the process.

The doofus in question, Tim McGeever, has been a pretty good sport about the whole thing, even going so far as to try and get ahead of the story by dubbing himself “The Sein-failed Guy.
‘Course that not only is an attempt to laugh off his own mindless negligence, but also transgresses the firmly held rule about not giving yourself a nickname, so feel free to just go ahead and call him Kosmo Kooked’er instead.
If you happen to be in New York this week, the installation will be open until Sunday.
