Interstellar is one of those movies that I’ll happily chuck on any time of the day or night – when Matthew McConaughey explains black holes and time dilation in that sweet southern drawl of his, I feel certain things starting to dilate, if you get my meaning, which I’m pretty sure you do.
ANYWAY, in a bit of casting news that could prove to be very exciting, Deadline reports that McConaugey and his Interstellar co-star Anne Hathaway are in talks to reunite for a “sexy noir” thriller called Serenity.
The film comes from Stephen Knight, the writer-director behind the one-man Tom Hardy film Locke, and is: “…. a mysterious tale of a fishing boat captain whose past is about to crash up against his life on a small island in the Caribbean, ensnaring him in a new reality that might not be all it seems.”
Final details have yet to be confirmed. Anne Hathaway will soon be seen in the straight-out-of-left-field monster move Colossal, while McConaughey‘s upcoming projects include the Stephen King adaptation The Dark Tower.
