Angry Landlord Exposes Luxury Influencer’s Feral Rubbish-Strewn Apartment

A glamorous influencer popular on the Chinese social media platform Weibo has been forced to apologise, after her landlord exposed photos of her trash and dog poop-strewn apartment to guilt her into cleaning it up.

Lisa Li has amassed more than 1.1 million followers on the platform, and regularly posts about fashion, restaurants and luxury vacations. As with many social media celebs, however, the reality of her life was apparently a little grimier.

Li recently moved out of her apartment in the city of Xi’an, and left it in a state of disarray. Her property manager, identified only as Chen, said the situation was so bad that even professional cleaners refused to go near the “disgusting condition.”

She reportedly also owed more than $600 in unpaid utility bills.

The property manager made multiple attempts to get in touch with Li, even reporting her to the police, but when all of these failed, she decided that shaming her former tenant online was her only option.

After Chen shared a video of the squalid apartment, Li started losing followers – the absolute worst thing that can happen to an influencer – she finally came back and promised to do something about it.

After posting an apology video that showed her shaking hands with her landlord, Li said: “Complete responsibility lies with me on this incident. I will clean now, I will even clean overnight.”
