There’s A Whole Twitter Thread Of Ppl Trying & Failing To Sell Mirrors Online

It’s Friday and we’re feeling like some silly but oddly relatable content to accompany you on your ways home. So what better way to celebrate the coming of the blessed weekend than with a whole Twitter thread of people trying to sell their mirrors online.

You may think, “What’s the problem?” but give it a decent minute because taking a picture of a mirror is no easy feat. 99 per cent of the time it’s just going to be an accidental and rather unattractive selfie as you swear at the mirror and wonder how the pros do it. Photoshop, probably. The other one per cent is if you’re Chris Evans and always look good, even with the moustache he’s now sportin’ for a theatre show.

So as you head home from a probably long day and prepare for a night out or in, here’s something to giggle at. You can thank the kind people on Twitter for making this a thing.

Firstly, here’s the thread where it all began. There are a whole bunch of failed mirror pictures in there to snort at.

And now, to the standouts because some of these exhibit such frustrating effort.

This picture and the ones after it completely encapsulate every dad/grandpa ever. The upside down iPad just completes the look.

The sandals.

This one’s just sweet.

Then, there are the people who tried really hard to not take an accidental selfie but still did.

I mean… that sort of works.

This next one’s a solid A+ for effort.

But alas as a stream of these pictures and similar flooded Twitter, no one came out a winner… unless this guy counts.

So is there a solution to this mirror mess? Perhaps giving the good ol’ timer feature on your phones a solid go will make you victorious.

Happy Fridayfriends.
