The first episode of I’m A Celebrity 2021 just came and went, and of course with it came a whole litany of iconic memes. Nine Aussie celebs have already been revealed so far, with one more to swing by tomorrow, which to me just sounds like more opportunities for hilarious tweets to appear.

Grant Denyer, Abbie Chatfield, Jack Vidgen, Paulini, Jess Eva, Toni Pearen, Mel Buttle, Ash Williams and Travis Varcoe walked into the ‘jungle’ on tonight’s episode, and there were a whole lot of turbo shenanigans that came their way.

Without further ado, here are just 16 of the best tweets and memes about the premiere ep of I’m A Celeb. If you happened to miss all the action, you can catch up with our recap right HERE.

Naturally, there had to be a tweet about the celebs being pretty obscure for most viewers, so let’s get those out of the way first.

I for one believe in Abbie Chatfield supremacy, and it looks like most of Australia agrees.

Most of the tweets about Abbie appearing on I’m A Celeb were basically about how iconic she is, so soak it up because I have a feeling that she is going to last quite a bit on this season.

And her makeup was flawless after being walked all over by roaches and spiders? We stan.

Mel Buttle lighting the fire with the flint was the gay representation we deserved. I’m watching I’m A Celeb for the girls and the gays only.

And can we talk about that iconic look that Jack wore when he entered the competition? I mean, if this was Drag Race he’d be commended for days.

Wrong show, but still an amazing lewk.

Also, this next tweet really just made me realise that there was literally NO point to the helicopter in the beginning.

A moment of silence for the fact that this years season of I’m A Celebrity was filmed in Murwillumbah…

Justice for Young Divas. This is a Young Divas stan site and we will not accept any erasure of their iconic discography.

And then, of course, there were some lovely skydiving memes, which is a niche that I didn’t know I’d be so entertained by.

And just in case you forgot, Abbie Chatfield is the queen of this season and you better put some respect on her name.

I’m A Celebrity just got hella interesting.

I can neither confirm nor deny whether I googled this as well. (I googled this.)

And that’s a wrap on the tweets and memes from the first ep!

You can catch I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! on Ten tomorrow night for some more jungle chaos.
