‘I Am Cait’ Has Reportedly Been Given The Axe, Caitlyn “Wasn’t Relatable”

While there has been no official confirmation from the show’s social media channels or those involved, there are reports this week that Caitlyn Jenner‘s reality series I Am Cait has been cancelled after two seasons.
The story was originally broken by Radar, who claim that they spoke to “multiple sources” close to E! Entertainment Television, and that low ratings played a part.
A source said that I Am Cait just “can’t compete with other programming” – which makes sense, in that the show’s second season premiere pulled in 750,000 viewers, while the Keeping Up The Kardashians premiere had more than two million.

Allegedly, Caitlyn’s clashes with her more left-leaning friends and support for Donald Trump also played a part in the cancellation, with network sources claiming that she never managed to click with the show’s target audience.
According to Radar:
“Caitlyn just wasn’t relatable … Trans viewers did not see her as one of them.”
If Radar’s story turns out to be accurate, and I Am Cait is off the air, you’ll still be able to catch Jenner when she appears in the upcoming third season of Amazon’s Transparent
