Hugh Sheridan proposed to his boyfriend Kurt Roberts overnight, popping the question in front of a live audience during his show at the Adelaide Fringe.
The Packed To The Rafters star was performing in his show Hughman and Roberts was sitting in the front row when he got on one knee and popped the question.
The answer was obviously yes, as he then told the crowd “I just got engaged!”
The pair are thought to have been dating for around three months, and were first linked in around December of last year.
Several weeks ago, Roberts posted a picture of the two of them on a boat along with the caption “2021’s off to a good start.”
In an interview last year with Stellar, Hugh Sheridan said that he was told to hide his sexuality in order to keep getting work, explaining:
“Figuring out that I connected with the same sex the way I did the opposite sex was almost a relief, so that advice was confusing. I now know that they were coming from a place of caring. The way it was explained to me was that women wouldn’t want to pay to see a movie or TV show if they knew they couldn’t have sex with the leading man. And it made me angry.”
