Far be it from me to defend social media but I’ve gotta say, it’s been doing one helluva job at keeping people’s spirits up during this crazy-ass time.
While some celebs have been blurting out BS online (ahem, Vanessa Hudgens), other celebs like Lizzo, Phoebe Tonkin, Antoni Porowski and the High School Musical gang have been doing their bit to entertain the masses (yes that includes Ness – ya win some, ya lose some).
Ashley Tisdale (IRL Sharpay) and problematic old Hudgens (Gabriella) shared TikTok vids from quarantine where they recreated the ‘We’re All In This Together’ dance from the end of the first flick.
Noticing all the hullabaloo, an under-appreciated member of the HSM fam got in on the fun with a TikTok vid of his own.
I am, of course, referring to Troy Bolton’s (Zac Efron) absolute SNACC of a dad, Coach Bolton (played by Bart Johnson).
And you’ll be happy to know that he’s ageing like the finest of wines.
