There are really only two possible explanations for this odd, rambling exchange between Sarah Silverman and E!’s Giuliana Rancic on the Emmys red carpet. The first is that Silverman decided to pull a really elaborate meta-prank, deconstructing the vapid nature of celebrity interviews from the inside. The second is that she was really, incredibly, catastrophically high.
