Holy Shit, There’s Rumours Cher Is Making A Guest Appearance In ‘AHS: Cult’

Well god damn, this would be a turn up for the books. American Horror Story hasn’t exactly been shy about chasing big name guest stars, having landed the likes of Stevie NicksLady Gaga, and Adam Levine in past seasons. But if the rumours are true, they could be about to land their biggest fish yet.

There’s extremely strong rumours that American Horror Story: Cult is set to feature none other than the iconic and enduring Cher.

Now stay with us on this one, because it is purely a rumour at this stage, and there’s a few steps to get there, but everything does seem to line up.

We know that Cher’s son Chaz Bono is confirmed for a role in Cult, after first appearing in the AHS series in last season’s Roanoke. Back in August, Cher tweeted this mysteriously cryptic message out:

Cult, those of you frothing for the show will be aware, is scheduled to premiere on September 5th, which lines up with the “First wk Sept” promise.

There’s also this set photo, posted to fan forum ATRL, showing a series of actor’s chairs on the set of AHS. While it’s blurry, it’s entirely plausible that the chair on the end belongs to Cher.

For what it’s worth, the AHS cast also attended Cher’s show in Las Vegas last week, which isn’t necessarily a direct hint that she’ll be turning back time with creepy-ass clowns, but it’s definitely not nothing.

A long bow is still a bow, after all.

All doubt is set to be erased once the series hits the air come September 5th (US time). Hold onto yr butts.
