‘Hocus Pocus’ Is Legit Getting Rebooted & We’re Hard As A Broomstick RN

The spoopy season that is October is just around the corner and what better news to kick it off than with confirmation this morning that the singular best Halloween themed movie of all time, Hocus Pocus, is getting rebooted baby!

The 1993 Disney flick which starred Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy is one of the many, many, many beloved 90s gems being resuscitated of late, with Deadline reporting The Disney Channel is in early stages of production of a TV movie adaptation.

Scarlett Lacey (The Royals) is on board to write the flick and David Kirschner, who produced the original movie is back to executive produce.

A new cast and director are yet to be announced, and with this being a reboot and not a sequel, don’t expect the OG trio of Bette, Sarah & Kathy to star, but hopefully pop in, in cameo form, please and thank you.

Some are pretty filthy they’re re-casting though, which, if you ask me, is super whingey cry-baby material. We’re getting a new Hocus Pocus jerks! Celebrate the news or jog off.
