The Younger star took to Instagram to confirm the exciting news that Matthew Koma, her longtime boyfriend and father of her bb, had popped the question in New York.
“He asked me to be his wife,” she captioned a gallery of pics displaying the gorgeous rock.
The pair first started dating back in early 2017 while they were working on Duff’s fifth studio album, Breathe In. Breathe Out. Koma co-wrote the songs ‘Arms Around a Memory’, ‘Confetti’, as well as the title track.
Duff spoke about her on-off relationship with Koma back in December 2017.
“It’s going so great,” Duff told E!. “I mean, this is the third time that we’ve dated and I think that what Selena [Gomez] says has so much merit to it. Timing is such a big deal… third time’s a charm!”
In June 2018, Duff announced her pregnancy with the musician’s daughter and bb Banks was born at the end of October.
Duff has one other child, her seven-year-old son Luca Cruz, whom she had with her ex-husband Mike Comrie.
In an interview on The Talk, Duff revealed that she an Koma had dated twice before. She explained, “I think that you have history and a past with someone, and love—just because it doesn’t work out the first time, the second time, as long as there’s not too much damage done, then it can always work out again.”
