Here’s Ya 1st Look At Oprah In Full Makeup For ‘A Wrinkle In Time’ Reboot

if you’ve not kept up to date with the production of the film, then you’ll be delighted to know that its cast list is pretty much everyone in Hollywood. Ok maybe that’s a bit of a stretch but it has Oprah Winfrey, Reece Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling, Chris Pine, André Holland, and Zach Galifianakis in it so, close enough.

Without ruining it too much, the story follows the Murry family children Meg and Charles as they go on a huge quest to try and find their scientist father who mysteriously disappeared. With the help of school friend Calvin O’Keefe and their three weird as hell neighbours, the kids find themselves travelling through time and space to bring Dr. Alex Murry back home.

We’re now getting our first-ever look at the leading ladies – Mindy, Oprah, and Reece – in full costume as Mrs. What, Mrs. Which, and Mrs. Whatsit respectively, thanks to Entertainment Weekly, and boy oh boy do they look like intergalactic angels. 

The aesthetic, the makeup, the hair. My excitement levels have absolutely skyrocketed.

We’ve also got a little peek at Chris Pine as Dr. Alex Murry, looking all quizzical in the most orange room I’ve ever seen.

Here he is, being a full-on science man. Ooft, hello Dr. Daddy.

And here’s director Ava DuVernay with Storm Reid, who plays Meg Murry.

A Wrinkle In Time is the first novel in L’Engle’s ‘Time Quintet’ series, so fingers crossed this is the first in what might be a belter of a new sci-fi franchise.

Seriously, next year cannot come quick enough.
