Here’s A Trailer For The Trump-Inspired ‘SVU’ Episode That Was Canned By NBC

As the weirdest and wildest US election campaign in living memory nears its conclusion, major network NBC have confirmed that they will pull an episode of the hit series Law & Order: SVU that appears to be inspired by current presidential candidate Donald Trump.
The episode, entitled ‘Unstoppable’, is about a wealthy politician, played by Gary Cole, who is attempting to “pick up the pieces of his campaign after multiple women come forward accusing him of sexual assault.”
“I’m a handsome, charming millionaire – women throw themselves at me,” says Cole’s skeezy politician in the below promo. While one of those words, at best, describes Trump, the resemblance is still pretty clear.
The episode went into production months before Trump’s infamous Access Hollywood tape leaked, and multiple women gave statements alleging sexual assault against him, so it could be that this is just a really, really spooky coincidence.
‘Unstoppable’ was set to air on October 26, two weeks before election day, but as of today, NBC brass say that they’ve pulled it from their schedule, with no new airdate confirmed. You can still check out the trailer below:
