Here Are The Big Winners From The 67th Directors Guild Awards

With The Grammys and The BAFTAs happening today, as well as some business going down in Canberra, the Directors Guild Awards could easily get lost in the shuffle.

One of the main reasons to be interested in the DGAs is that they are a reliable predictor of who will win Oscars – in the past 66 years, the Oscars have only deviated from the DGA Best Director winner seven times.
This past weekend, trophies were handed out in Los Angeles, and Alejandro González Iñárritu was awarded top honours for his film Birdman, making him a prime candidate for the coming Oscars.
