Henry Golding & Matthew McConaughey Are Starring In A Movie Together

Crazy Rich Asians breakout star Henry Golding has yet another film project on the way and it co-stars the ever so elegant Kate Beckinsale and Matthew McConaughey.

Tell Mum.

As Variety reports, the three big names will lead the way in the British crime drama helmed by Guy Ritchie so expect good things. If you’re blanking, Ritchie is behind The Man From U.N.C.L.E. and the Sherlock Holmes series starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law.

The film, titled Toff Guys, will follow a British drug lord as he attempts to make a shit ton of cash by selling off his empire to Oklahoma billionaires.

I mean, it hasn’t been announced who’s playing who yet but I’m going to take a stab in the dark here and say McConaughey will be one of these billionaires.

It’s still extremely early days but it’s good to see Golding the “accidental actor” up to great things.

When you think about it, the 31-year-old is doing real well. Just a little while ago news surfaced of yet another project, this time a romcom, co-starring Game of Thrones front woman Emilia Clarke. This isn’t just any romcom, it’s a Christmas movie written by Emma Thompson.

Yes, so much yes.

In the meantime, you can catch Golding in his latest flick A Simple Favor starring Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick.

Oh, and in some other Guy Ritchie news – man behind the 2019 live-action Aladdin film – Will Smith unveiled the brand new poster for the childhood classic and it’s big punch to the nostalgic heart.

Aladdin is expected to hit cinemas in May 2019.
