The Rosie Project’s Awkward Genetics Professor Will Be Played By Human Bicep Henry Cavill

The Australian best-selling book The Rosie Project is finally being made into a movie and awkward professor Don will be played by *checks notes* Henry Cavill??

For those who have read the book, you’ll know hunk o’ spunk Cavill is a bit of an interesting choice for the role. I mean I know he played Clark Kent, but also, that’s only because he was playing fucking Superman. Awkward, gawky dude played by a 10/10 man of steel? I’m not buying it.

Basically the story follows Don, a professor at an Aussie University, who creates a 16-page questionnaire to help him find the perfect partner.

Rosie, is the opposite of everything Don is looking for: she smokes, drinks and is fiercely independent.

Rosie wants to find out who her biological father is and enlists Don to help her, and I guess you’ll have to watch the movie or read the book to find out the rest.

The Rosie Project, directed by Steve Falk, will be one of Cavill’s only non-action heavy projects in the pipeline. This year Cavill is expected to return as Sherlock Holmes in the sequel to Enola Holmes, as well as a new spy thriller Argylle.

Hotty Cavill will also be starring in the Highlander reboot. If you’re not familiar with the OG, it’s a 1986 fantasy/action flick about an immortal bloke who has to fight other immortal beings until one remains. Sounds complicated, but it’s hugely popular with fantasy geeks.

Not only that, but the Highlander actor just wrapped season 2 of The Witcher, and one of the horn-dogs at PEDESTRIAN.TV has gone to the mighty effort of screenshotting every hot pic of Cavill from S2 trailer.

Just last week, Netflix announced that the new season would premiere on December 17. So I guess that means we’ll be seeing a lot of Henry Cavill over the next few years *immediately starts hyperventilating*.
