Good new for all y’all Eastbound & Down fans: creators Danny McBride and Jody Hill are returning to HBO for another series we’re annoyed we can’t watch RIGHT NOW.
The show, set in a high school, is called “Vice Principals” and centers on – you guessed it – the people who almost run the place. According to Deadline, it’s been picked up for 18 episodes, which like Eastbound & Down could stretch over multiple seasons.
It’ll be produced by McBride and Hill, along with David Gordon Green and Stephanie Laing who executive produced Eastbound & Down. There’s not much other information re: casting out there, so instead why don’t we have a remember of how good Eastbound & Down was/is?
